Creativity without vision is worthless. A camera can snap an image, but when not influenced by an intelligent being, it's just an image. This photo titled "The Birds", was taken at mile marker 40 on the North shore of Padre Island in Texas. Inaccessible by any vehicle without four-wheel drive, this shot was taken while on a camping trip and in just a split second. I did however, take the time to compose the scene to get the most birds in and at least a wave to pull the viewer in to the natural element of the moment. I saw this as it was happening and captured it to share with others. I live by my statement that "Creation is equal only to vision", a saying that is presented within this image and all my other photos both film and digital. Without it, what's the point? It's time for Holiday Pictures again and this year we have three great photo sessions to choose from! Session starting at just $125. And if you book your session by Friday November 16th, you'll receive a $25 print credit. With so many great options at unbelievable prices, this year is sure to be a busy one! http://www.wickedlight.com/holiday-pics.html So yes, normally when there's an upgrade of any sort prices go up, but for now, I've decided to drop them. Combining two completely different genre's of photography together isn't just the punch of a few buttons...it's the punch of many! I do make a living as a photographer, but also as a web designer, social media manager, and consultant. So new website, new prices, new look, combined websites, and even a few new sub-domains including WickedLightWeddings and WickedLightPhotos.
I decided to clean house a bit and re-combine Wicked Light Photography with Brad Leese Photography. By doing this I've brought the People and Commercial elements of my photography together all under one much bigger roof. In the coming months there will be more changes, some exciting, some boring and then some completely a surprise, but all welcome. I invite you to come take a look at my "new digs" and stay awhile, 'cause the weather's always nice here...!
