I try to keep the Wicked Light Photography website fresh and updated with new images, text and links. Today I decided to change the whole site, just to do a little Fall cleaning. Besides the general overall changes that might or might not be apparent, I turned the interesting text to orange including the menu fly-overs. The background sprung forward with the removal of a solid black image to that of an image I took then worked on from a couple of years ago. I took the picture along the I30 Tollway between Buda and Austin. The sun was setting and it was a cool Fall day, hence the "Sunset in the Fall" heading on this blog entry.
I also added the Wicked Light Photography logo which was created by Jon Goree a few years back. Jon is a graphic designer in Austin, Tx and works freelance, so if you need a good logo, brochure or any other design work, let me know and I'll give you his number...(hopefully I can get a site up for him soon) New pictures will be added over the next few weeks. I'm working on a few projects, a couple that are almost done and a couple that I've yet to start, so check back often for updates. On a side note, I'm starting a Social Media Management and Marketing Company named Austin Media Slingers. I've been doing this a few years free for several small businesses and fellow photographers. Now it's time to get paid, if you are in need of someone to make your company look great, check me out. I provide basic management of your social profiles to full on social media marketing management and charge by the hour or via one of my budget conscience package deals. My website is under construction right now, but will be up by this coming Wednesday. Thanks for stopping by, Brad

So I haven't posted a lot of new work, but that doesn't mean that I'm taking a break either. Actually, I've been working on a whole new set of images that will be ready to post in a couple of weeks or maybe even sooner. I've decided to turn back to my roots and shoot a bunch of landscape type images with some historic architectural elements and new age original stuff thrown in the mix. I love the process of re-inventing myself with expansive new projects that push my knowledge well beyond what I've always been comfortable shooting. Soon, real soon, I will bring the human element into the natural landscape one. For me at least, it will be groundbreaking, offering my viewers a rare glimpse into a project that I started planning well over two years ago. Due to time constraints and the lack of location usage, it is now that this project shall begin...
